Hi, my name is Ethan. I'm 15 years old and am the inventor of The Cork Clip. Obviously I'm not a wine drinker (yet), so why did I invent The Cork Clip?
I came up with the idea for The Cork Clip because my dad drinks a lot of wine. I noticed when he takes the cork out of the bottle it has a lot of wine residue on the end, and he puts it on my mom's white tablecloth which stains it. This makes my mom very, very angry. Sometimes he puts it on a tray, but then the cork gets lost.
This is where The Cork Clip comes to the rescue! The Cork Clip easily stores the cork on the bottle without it getting lost or staining the tablecloth. Another benefit of The Cork Clip is that my dad finds it inconvenient to decant wine when he's at a restaurant or a friend's house. The Cork Clip is an easy way to allow air into the wine without using a decanter.
